Aims & scope

Neewaj Journal of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences publishes original, peer-reviewed scholarship that advances understanding of human culture, creativity and social life. We welcome theoretical, empirical and practice-based contributions from fields including literature, philosophy, history, cultural studies, visual and performing arts, anthropology, sociology, political theory, and related interdisciplinary work. The journal prioritizes research that offers novel interpretive frameworks, rigorous contextual analysis, methodological innovation in qualitative and mixed methods, and work that connects humanistic insight to contemporary social issues.

We particularly encourage:

  • Comparative and transnational scholarship, critical theory, and interdisciplinary approaches that bridge arts and social sciences.
  • Research that foregrounds marginalized voices, decolonial perspectives, public humanities, and creative-critical practices.
  • Empirical cultural studies, archival research, performance studies, and theoretically informed policy analyses that illuminate cultural and social change.
